You know, I love this man. But man did his nerves get the best of him tonight! He stood stiff as a board and he just reminded me of a deer standing in front of a moving car! His vocals were pretty good. I love his voice. But that last high note at the end cracked like the ground in an earthquake.

Chikezie

This poor guy. He seems like the sweetest guy ever, but I think he’s headed into the land of forgetfulness. I don’t think anyone is going to remember him and his performances. He has a nice, soft voice, but it seems he was a bit old fashioned tonight. “Jacuzzi” or “Chikezie,” whatever you call him, I can’t see him going far. If he makes it past tonight, I hope this man can bring it next week and prove just how good he really is.

So here we are, day 29. Who would have thought this month would go by so fast? Well, here are my stats for today.

Main Characters: Allie, Andrew, Kris, Mikayla, Rico, and Gloria
Explosions: Still just one, although I want another one!
Injured Characters: Allie has been hurt now three times. She was punched by Mikayla twice, one leading to a grade four concussion, and she has now got caught in a fire. Kris is still in the hospital with burns from the explosion, but he is expected to be released soon! Mikayla suffered some minor smoke inhalation problems, but did not have to go to the hospital. Andrew has just been a lucky duck and gotten out of anything happening to him. Yet. =)
Time Characters have Taken Over Story: A majority of it. How's that for an answer?

Word Count: 50,019. Seriously. I did it. Last night at about 10:15ish, I finished a word war (and I had my count hidden so I wouldn't know if I won) and I went to verify my count. When the "You Won!" page came up, I screamed, ran to the printer, printed it out and shoved it in my mom's face. I felt so good, and my friends and parents are so proud of me.

Love them? The certificate is nice. I never got to see the one from last year. :(

So that's it for National Novel Writing Month 2007! I am hoping to keep you updated while the story continues, seeing as it isn't officially over yet. But I will most likely forget!

Ack. It's already day 24? Crap. Well, so far I am still on schedule (that's on schedule - I am no longer ahead).

So my stats are always the same! But because it has been a while, I must at least TRY and think of something different that I can say besides my word count.

So my stats as of (13 pm:

Time Characters have Taken Over Story: Honestly, I don't know anymore. I do think they are in control right now, but who really knows anymore? The story is moving along, more things are happening, and I really doubt they are ever going to get around to going in for the mission.

Word Count: 40,344. Yay! That is a little over the goal for today, so I either need to write more now, or write on schedule tomorrow. Argh, and we are back in school on Monday. =(

So those are my stats. I will have maybe one more, if not then the next post will be the last for National Novel Writing Month of 2007, and in that post I will tell you whether I won or lost. But seriously, if I have come this far, I expect myself to win. So you should too.

Oh, I almost forgot. My football team went to the Alamodome yesterday for Round 2 of the playoffs (did I mention that we haven't made the second round of playoffs in ten years?) against Smithson Valley. My gosh, be happy if you weren't there. It was all Smithson Valley yesterday. They were on the top of their game. The final score: 49-22. If you are curious, plus I'm bored, here are the TD stats for the game.

That was the game. It wasn't a very good one. But I can still say, I love my football team. Always will. Well, at least until I go to college and get a new team! =)

So I'm not going to do the whole stats thing again today, seeing as it is the exact same as it was on day 17.

I am posting here because my word count is back on track! Last night I was doing word wars with the other cool NaNo people, and I was just multiplying me usual amounts from the 100-200s, to between 400 and 600! Last night was amazing. I have decided that I am probably going to be up late all week because it apparently seems to work.

My goal is to finish this week during the break, that way I don't have to worry about sprinting across the line like a lot of people end up doing.

So keep writing your novels! I sure am!

Oh, and so you know:
Current Word Count (as of 3:00 pm): 32,130. Yay!

So the 15th was the halfway point, but mine was a few days earlier. Yesterday I didn't write at all (mostly because I was never home to compete in any word wars), so I'm actually so far behind. I need to get a little over 28000 tonight to be on time, but I do know that since it is now Thanksgiving break, I have a whole week plus two weekends of no school to write!

So my stats as of 7:07 pm:
Main Characters: Allie, Andrew, Kris, Mikayla and Rico (he needs to be added!)
Explosions: Still just the one, though I am contemplating planning another one for later (I need something interesting to boost my word count!)
Injured Characters: Also now still just the two; Kris and Allie. Allie almost suffered another concussion in the explosion, but she was fine. Kris is still in the hospital.
Time Characters have Taken Over Story: I'm not really sure anymore, because it's an on-off thing, but currently, I am in control. And my control means a very slow-moving novel so far. I'm pretty sure I've written 3,000 words in the past 3-4 days. I've written twice as much in one day at the beginning of the month.

Word Count: 27,938. Only about 6500 words more than I had 6 days ago. :(

So for something unrelated to my novel, our football team won the first round of playoffs last night! We won in a very scary, close game 22-17. Our winning touchdown happened with 32 seconds left in the game. Yay! Our next game is on Friday morning (yes, the day after Thanksgiving) at 11 am in the Alamodome against Smithson Valley. I can't say whether or not we're going to win, but I can say that I hope we do!

Day 11 Stats:

Main Characters: Allie, Andrew, Kris, Mikayla

Dead Characters: NONE! Yay!
Explosions: One! Yay!
Injured Characters: Two. Allie got punched twice. Darn Mikayla and her lack of control! And Kris got hurt in the explosion.
Times characters have taken over story: Just once, I think. Well, twice if you count both times that Mikayla punched Allie.

Word Count (4:06 PM): 22,513 words. Boo-yah!

This is going great. I am hoping to have 25k tonight, but I still need to finish my homework, and maybe eat. Not to mention, cheer on the Cowboys! Off to finish my homework so I can write more. Later!

So here it is, day 5, and here I am (right now) sitting at about 12.5k. It feels great just being over my word count from last year (about 8k the whole month) and now being this far ahead in 5 days =D. Anyone else ahead and feel great about it?

So I'm off to do some more writing, and word wars. Procrastination is bad!

It's near the end of Day 3 now, and I am pleased to announce that I am way ahead of schedule. I'm not really as far as some of the people on the NaNo chat, but I'm already close to 7000 words and 8:30 pm. This is exciting, because I only wrote about 8k words last year, and I'm already almost there in 3 days. It's a great feeling.

To the rest of you doing NaNo reading this, I really hope you win! I'm doing great, and I know you can too (even if I don't know you!).

So good luck everybody! If I can do it with school and band, then I'm sure you can do it too!

Eep! NaNo starts in 2 hours! I will probably be asleep at midnight since I have to go to school tomorrow (and stay awake), but I'll be sure to write as soon as I wake up. I can stay up late tomorrow night anyway, since we've got an early release and a long drive to the football game. Woot!

I am so ready for this. I really am. Wish me luck in my journey through NaNoLand!

I always say this when I put up a post, but it's been a long time since I've posted on here. I mean, seriously? June? Well, since NaNo is coming up again, I'm hoping this becomes active again.

So I'm really posting for three reasons:

1) I'm bored. :)
2) I figured that I'd best jump start the blogging if I plan on doing it during November while writing a 50k word novel at the same time... :)
3) I got a comment on my last post, not sure how long ago. But it's killing me because I just read it, it's an anonymous post and they signed it as "Your Friend," then went on to say they wouldn't say who they were, but I knew them. So basically right now I'm asking. Who are you? Email me if I know you! Tell me who you are, please!

So for NaNo: I decided to only outline the first three "chapters" of my story, because I knew word padding and dares would come into the mix and just throw things way off anyway. But that's done, so now I'm describing things in great detail (setting, characters, etc). I've even already come up with many extra characters. I am so excited to start writing, and I'm ready for it. I want to start now, but I know that would be cheating... :(

Oy. I'm tired already. I guess it's off to bed for me. Night!
